A Message From Our Founder

End disputes. Preserve what matters.

India’s courts carry a substantial burden of pending cases. Behind every prolonged dispute is more than a case number—there may be time lost, financial resources spent, uncertainty, stress, and relationships placed under strain.

I founded Zero Litigation™ with a simple belief: not every dispute needs to become a prolonged courtroom battle. The objective is not to replace the justice system, but to make credible alternatives available to individuals and businesses before disputes escalate unnecessarily.

As a legal scholar, I have developed a deep interest in dispute resolution, access to justice, and the challenges surrounding judicial pendency. I believe that many disputes require not only legal remedies, but also an opportunity for parties to communicate, understand each other’s perspectives, and explore practical solutions.

Mediation and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) provide a structured framework for that conversation.

Mediation does not guarantee a settlement, nor is it suitable for every dispute. Its value lies in creating an opportunity for parties to participate actively in exploring a mutually acceptable resolution with the assistance of a neutral professional. Even when an immediate agreement is not reached, meaningful dialogue can help parties better understand their positions and available options.

Building an Alternative for Individuals and Businesses

For businesses, startups, MSMEs and institutions, prolonged disputes can affect finances, operations, commercial relationships, and future opportunities.

Where appropriate, mediation and ODR can provide a structured avenue for addressing disagreements without immediately resorting to prolonged adversarial proceedings. They also allow parties to remain actively involved in exploring practical outcomes.

Through Zero Litigation™, our aim is to make professional dispute-resolution services more accessible to individuals, families, businesses, startups, MSMEs and institutions.

Alongside mediation and ODR, we facilitate access to professionals for relevant business support services, including trademark registration assistance, MSME compliance advisory, and startup and business advisory.

Our objective is to encourage a resolution-oriented culture in which individuals and businesses consider appropriate alternatives before a disagreement develops into prolonged litigation.

This is not about avoiding justice.
It is about expanding access to ways of achieving resolution.

About the Founder

I am Shivansh Mishra, Legal Scholar and Founder of Zero Litigation™.

My interests lie at the intersection of law, mediation, access to justice, and dispute-resolution systems. My academic learning in these areas includes completing NPTEL’s Conflict Management Through Mediation course through SWAYAM at IIT Madras, achieving a consolidated score of 100%, Gold Medal recognition, and a place among the Top 1% of certified candidates in India.

I have also completed the course Legal and Regulatory Compliance for Small and Medium Business Enterprises, further broadening my understanding of regulatory compliance and the considerations relevant to small and medium enterprises.

I believe that individuals and businesses should be aware of credible alternatives when those alternatives are appropriate to their circumstances.

Through Zero Litigation™, I aim to build a platform grounded in professionalism, accessibility, structured processes, confidentiality, and neutrality. I see mediation not merely as an attempt to settle a dispute, but as an opportunity to create meaningful dialogue and open pathways towards mutually acceptable solutions.

Our goal extends beyond individual disputes. We aspire to contribute to a culture in which constructive dialogue and appropriate alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms are considered before conflicts become prolonged and more difficult to resolve.

Our Vision

To contribute towards a future with fewer prolonged disputes, greater access to alternative dispute resolution, and more opportunities for individuals and businesses to move forward constructively.

We believe that when appropriate alternatives are accessible and parties are willing to engage, resolution can become a more informed, collaborative, and practical possibility.
